Fertilizer/ feed for the plant: The angulata is a slow grower and will appreciate fertilisers once a month in its growing season from spring to summer.
Repotting : The Peperomia is a slow grower and does not need to be repotted frequently. Repot in a slightly larger pot in a well-draining soil when the plant outgrows the current pot.
Propagation : Peperomia varieties are super easy to propagate. You can grow them from simple stem cuttings. Remove the lowest leaves and root them directly in soil or water, ensure that at least one leaf node is under the soil or water level.
1. Why does my peperomia have dull fading leaves?
Light and fading leaves in peperomia are caused by strong light. Avoid direct light and keep your plants in bright indirect light.
2. Why are peperomia leaves discoloured?
The discolouration of leaves and flowers are caused due to overwatering. Peperomias love a fairly dry growing medium. Let the soil dry out between watering cycles.
3. What pests commonly affect peperomias?
Peperomias are lucky in the way that it doesn't have many pest issues other than a rare sighting of mealybugs. Clean the leaves and use neem oil regularly as a remedy and preventive method both.
Light Requirements : The peperomia angulatas are slow growers and love bright to medium indirect light spots. It loves warm temperature and humidity but a dry potting mix.
Locations : The best spot for it is near north or east facing light sources. A few feet away from south or west facing light sources is also a good spot. Keep it in a warm kitchen for better growth.
Styling/décor tip : The peperomia angulata is one of the best houseplants, its slow growth rate makes it possible to easily manage the plant. Plant it in stunning planters and use it as tabletop plant. It looks stunning while trailing down the sides of bookshelves. It is an excellent plant for your worktable. Use a metallic tabletop planter to elevate your décor game to the next level.
