All the plant gossip, through the grapevine. Pun intended
Fertilizer/ feed for the plant: Use compost at the time of planting and follow it up with a well-balanced plant fertilizer every month.
Repotting : Repot your rosemary when the plant outgrows its current planter in a slightly larger planter with a well-draining potting mix.
Propagation : The rosemary plant can be grown with seeds and also propagated with stem cuttings planted directly in the soil. Ensure that the soil is well-draining and is kept moist.
1. Why is my rosemary plant coated with white powdery substance?
Rosemary loves dry air, high humidity and poor air circulation causes a fungal infection called powdery mildew to develop on the plant. It won't kill the plant but it weakens it defence system making it susceptible to other pest infestation.
2. Why are my rosemary leaves turning black?
Blackening of rosemary leaves is a sign of too much moisture. Rosemary plant loves dry arid conditions for growing. Use a well-draining potting mix and water only when the potting mix is dry. keep the plant well-ventilated and avoid wetting the foliage while watering.
3. Why is there a web on my rosemary plant?
Spider mites are a pest that infest the rosemary plant and from webs around it. they suck the ap out of the plant, affect new growth, and eventually kill the plant. To get rid of spider mites, physically remove the colonies either with a wet wipe or water pressure and then spray with neem oil solution regularly till the plant is pest free.
Light Requirements : Rosemary plant grows in full sun and needs at least 6 hours of direct sunlight through the day.

Place it on your south-facing window sill in your living room or bedroom to create visual interest and also fill your room with natural fragrance.
