If your fern has not completely died and has some green left, prune the brown dead fronds and water the plant thorughly till water runs out the bottom of the pot and repeat it once more. Mist the leaves nicely and move it to a bright but shaded area to help it recover. Mist and water regularly and avoid drying it out.
Over-fertilising is a ocmmon issue in ferns. Ferns are a delicate plant that need very diluted feed, overfertilising can burn the fronds. Stick to diluted fertilisers at least one month apart.
Ferns love water and humidity, so the more the merrier. Ensure that your fern is planted in a well-draining but rich soil in a pot with drainage holes. Water regularly to maintain a moist, but not soggy, growing medium and mist regularly.
