Plant Essentials

Fertilizer/ feed for the plant:Feed the Dracaena plant once or twice a year with a slow-releasing fertiliser.
Repotting : It is a slow growing variety that will not require repotting often. However when it outgrows its current pot, plant it in a slightly larger pot with a well-draining soil mix.
Propogation : Propagate the Dracaena plant through stem cutting. Immerse in water till roots sprout and then pot it with appropriate soil.

It is normal for the bottom leaves of the Dracaena plant to yellow and shed. That simply means that the plant is growing and giving way to new foliage.

3. How often should I water my Dracaena plant?
Dracaena plants do not require too much water. Make sure the soil is completely drained before watering again - the top half of the soil should be completely dry.
