All the plant gossip, through the grapevine. Pun intended
Fertilizer/ Feed for the plant : The Aloe plant thrives in well - drained, sandy loam soil. At the time of planting, add a good amount of cow dung manure or compost or compost to the paying soil.
Repotting : Repot your Aloe Vera Star once a year. This will ensure that your Aloe gets fresh soil and ample room to grow.
Propagation : With time you will notice that your pot gets crowded with baby aloes which are called pups. For propagation cut off these pups from the mother plant and place them in a different pot. Aloe can also be propagated by leaf cuttings.
1. Why is my Aloe plant mushy?
If your Aloe Plant is completely mushy it is because of overwatering. Overwatering causes the root system to rot, which then spreads to the entire plant. Water your plant less frequently to avoid this.
2. Why are my Aloe Vera leaves turning yellow?
Overwatering or under watering causes yellowing of Aloe Vera plant. If the soil is too dry, the likely cause is underwatering, whereas if the soil is too wet the cause is overwatering.
3. Why are my Aloe leaves turning red?
Too much of light coupled with under-watering can make the Aloe leaves turn red. Move the plant away from direct light and water the plant more often.
Light Requirements : Aloes grow well in shaded areas. 3 to 4 hours of sunlight is enough for proper growth of your Aloe. Although Aloe Vera can survive full sunlight, grow your aloe under some shade for better growth.
Locations : Aloe Vera can be grown both indoors and outdoors. An ideal spot for your Aloe plant would be near a window where your plant gets ample amount of light.
Styling/Décor tip : Add it to your work desks or corner tables to bring life to any space, we suggest teaming it up with a fun quirky pot. The erect, dense, and fleshy leaves of the Aloe can give an instant facelift to your living room, balcony, shelf, or your centre table. It is also a great bedroom plant!

The most common reason for haworthias dying is either over watering or under watering. If the soil is too dry and the leaf tips are brown, the likely cause is underwatering. If the growing medium is too wet and the leaves are mushy, the culprit is root rot.
Haworthia grows best in a well-draining potting mix suitable for succulents. The potting mix generally has no to very little organic matter and is extremely well-draining.
